Patient Safety
From now until 2019, BC Children’s Hospital and BC Women’s Hospital & Health Centre will be undergoing construction. This construction will result in a brand a new Acute Care Centre and dozens of other exciting improvements throughout the campus.
Patient and staff safety continues to be the top priority. Throughout construction, extra caution is being taken to maintain a healing environment and to minimize the impacts of construction on patients and families. All construction is guided by strict infection control and safety standards.
