About Us
For more than 50 years, children and women in British Columbia needing specialized health care have received treatment through the programs and services of BC Children’s Hospital, BC Women’s Hospital and Health Centre and Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children.
BC Children's Hospital provides care for the most seriously ill or injured children and youth from across British Columbia, while Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children offers development and rehabilitation programs for children with disabilities. BC Children's is also the province's leading teaching and research facility for child health.
BC Women’s Hospital and Health Centre is the only facility in British Columbia devoted primarily to the health of women, newborns and families, and is one of Canada's largest and busiest maternity hospitals.
The BC Children's and BC Women's Redevelopment Project is an initiative of the Provincial Health Services Authority.
